I appreciated how well he explained the examples in class. However, I would prefer if he spent more time explaining a few of the harder concepts. Other than that, he was excellent when it came to clarifying any confusion that occurred during lectures.

Staying organized and strict with the schedule was very helpful I appreciate that, and I know that’s important in preparing students for the real world. A lot of professors I’ve met are not as organized and it dis-coordinates the whole class, so thank you for what you’re doing!

Dr. Yuk was very helpful during office hours and would provide clear answers to any questions we had. Any time a confusing question was asked in office hours, he was able to simplify the answer to create a clear and organized solution with the reasoning behind why each step was taken when solving the problem. In addition, he provided assistance and guidance when a student was struggling with the material by giving them study tips and reviewing key concepts.

The course was highlighted by the final project; that is where I learned the most. I feel that if learning Ansys is a high priority, then more time should be spent doing that. Maybe, one day of lecture and one day of learning Ansys instead of trying to learn an industry standard program strictly from tutorials.
