Kelvin is an expert on FET transistor modeling. His PhD work, which was done at UC Davis, focused on the nonlinear modeling of GaN and SiC transistors for RF and microwave applications, and the use of such models for the design of non-linear circuits such as frequency multipliers.

I’ve known and worked with Kelvin for many years. He has not only a very deep understanding of RF microwave but also many other areas of electrical engineering as well. He is a very articulate person and that often shows in his communication with others, especially in the technical aspect. Besides his theoretical knowledge, Kelvin is an extremely hands-on type of engineer. He participates in building, testing, debugging the hardware wherever he is needed.

The instructor presented the material great. The lecture was always clear and conveyed in an excellent manner. I truly appreciate how thorough the instructor was when solving problems. Some instructors will skip over some of the math involved in solving problems which would sometime confuse me, however Dr. Yuk was always very detailed.
