I like Dr. Yuk’s teaching. He is a nice person and willing to answer all the answers students asked. He is familiar with the lecture materials and explain them clearly. As a non-EE student but need to know EM in my research, I feel the lectures are just in the good difficulties. I learned a lot about EM. The HFSS workshop are really good for me to learn a new software. The weakness for this class is it seems we spent too many lectures in chapter 6 and 8, almost all the time after the midterm. Instructor presented information in a clear a organized fashion that was easy to follow. He was readily available before class or during office hours to take questions and seemed like he wanted his students to understand the material, not just memorize. Great instructor, one of my favorites so far in Davis.
