Echoic Engineering was formed in 2015 as an independent research consultancy promoting creativity and excellence in engineering. Born from a passion for science and technology, we aim to provide viable solutions to today’s RF and microwave design challenges. Our expertise includes product development, circuit design and technology level evaluation for modern wireless systems.

Meet Our Team

Kelvin Yuk, PhD, Principal and Founder

I received my B.S. and M.S. electrical engineering degrees from UC Davis, in 2001 and 2004, respectively. In 2012, I obtained a PhD with an emphasis on RF and microwave engineering. Some of my previous work experience include Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Skyworks Solutions, Inc.

With over 10 years of RF and microwave research and development in wide ranging of projects involving nonlinear circuits, device models and antennas, I promise to deliver the best solutions for your wireless needs.  Our unique, in-depth knowledge and experience in wide bandgap semiconductor devices like GaN HEMTs has pioneered the characterization and modeling of these devices since their commercial inception.

Additionally, countless hours have been spent in industry designing high-volume, high performance, low-cost commercial products for cellular applications, one of the most fast-paced and demanding industries.
